Background History
I was born in Leicester to a father who was a professional actor and a mother who was a professional singer. The subsequent upbringing was an inevitable journey involving anything related to Performing Arts. Our family run business The Guillain School of Theatre was the first of it's kind to focus on coaching young people in performance arts skills. During it's 20 years of action I choreographed, directed and performed in numerous shows and formed Amuse-Inc, which was a professional touring revue company of eight performers. After the school closed I continued with my freelance work, choreographing and directing for many companies around Leicestershire. I also opened my own drama classes and workshops for young performers. My passion for health and wellbeing was fuelled by a return to education where I gained qualifications in holistic health and teaching exercises and movement for the over 50's and those with mobility issues.
ReGenerate Fitness &
ReGenerate Fitness and Wellbeing has been in operation for 4 years. The classes offer seated, supported and free-standing exercises covering flexibility, mobility, aerobic and strength aimed at increasing overall fitness for the over 50’S.  Running alongside these classes I promote weight management and supply the latest nutritional information which I often share through my popular blog posts. My ReGenerate Fitness and Wellbeing classes also promote the forming of community networks in rural areas for isolated older adults. ReGenerate Performing Arts
I have taught the Internationally accredited LAMDA Syllabus in Communication and Performance Arts for over 3 decades. As well as building confidence, poise and communication skills there is also an opportunity to gain extra UCAS points in the higher grades. Being able to communicate with confidence is a skill that can lead to many exciting jobs and opportunities and it is this that makes the LAMDA syllabus so appealing and important. As well as coaching many learners through this varied syllabus I have helped students prepare for public speaking events, interviews and drama school auditions and showreels.
